The Restaurant

San Martino Restaurant and Pizzeria is named after the romantic street where it is located, right in the historic center of Bardolino, a renowned and distinctive little town on the Veronese shore of Lake Garda.

The premises, obtained from the restructuring of ancient craftsman’s workshops, comprise a spacious dining room with decorative wooden girders and Renaissance-style frescos; two large crystal lamps adorn the ceiling.

Adjacent to the dining room there is a private courtyard where a stone wall, overgrown with a lush rose-bush, enhances the atmosphere.
During the winter the courtyard is covered and trasformated into a cosy dining room.

Just in front of the restaurant two summer terraces allow open-air lunches and dinners.

The traditional Italian gastronomy is one of the most wide and varied in the world. In our restaurant we try to offer to our clients a taste of real Italian foods no just offering the usual popular dishes.

We join together the respect for tradition with the search for the best prime materials that the market has to offer daily. The pasta is homemade using genuine ingredients here (except the spaghetti). The fish we offer may vary from day to day as we only use fresh fish available at the market on that day.

We have carefully chosen prime cuts of meat to prepare our genuinely delicious mixed grills. Our wine cellar hosts a careful election of the best labels of national and local wines trying to offer a wide choice and at the same time introducing the less famous but of equal excellent quality.

In a few words our aim is to affer a good standard of traditional food which we hope can be appreciated by those who still have the love for the
flavours of real genuine food. We remind you that almost all our dishes are prepared “at the moment” to respact the fundamental rules of good cooking therefore some dishes may though minimum involve waiting.
